A half-hearted attempt at adapting Trevanian's, thrilling best-seller. Suffer drastically from a hacked up screenplay and ludicrous miscasting. The film makers have failed to comprehend the enigmatic side of the novel's main character. This movie is just about kept afloat by its original outstanding premises and its able location photography.
