The plot, is a little recondite and upon closer inspection, its tenability is questionable at best. But somehow, Mamet's know-how and flair more than overcome that shortcoming and present us with a very enjoyable story. Mamet's characteristic trademark of the metronomic tempo of the dialogues delivery is quite perceptible is this opus.

Looking back, I entertain this unshakable sensation of having witnessed an allegory on Mamet's attitude towards Hollywood.

I loved it!
